Intro
Hi Stageonians and welcome to my site! I want to write this small intro to present myself and this new project of mine. For me, it is important to know what to expect and the core idea behind the lines you are about to read in my articles.
First of all, let me introduce myself. My name is Dimitris (aka TwoMatrixGr) and I’m Greek. That explains the “.gr” domain of the website and the capital “GR” in my nickname. So I want you to forgive me for any grammar or vocabulary mistakes you might face.
Apart from my nationality, another thing you should know about me is that I was born in the middle 80s and from a very young age I loved to watch movies, series and playing videogames. I don’t know if growing up in the 90s had to do with it, but for me that period was the ideal time to follow these trends.
The idea of making a website to talk about the things I like is not new. In fact, this is the second attempt for StageOne.gr to operate. The first one was in 2019 and was only addressed to Greeks. However, my free time then was very limited and I was trying to follow the news, which wasn’t easy for me. As a result, I abandoned the site and focused on my daily job. But deep inside me, I always wanted to share what I experience when I finish a video game or a movie.
So now, StageOne.gr will be a little different. In its pages you will find mostly my opinion on things I watch or play in my free time. The articles will have the essence of a review, however I will not give any scores as I’m not a critic. My goal is to share with you my experiences and vice versa. Except for that, the site will have a news section but don’t expect to follow up with everything new on a daily basis. I will upload only what I find interesting and worth mentioning.
In addition, as a 90’s kid and retromaniac, I will try to make some tributes to old titles. Just to express my love for things that formed my character and also for the younger audiences to get the feeling from a period that was more romantic and pure.
The last thing I want to inform you about is that StageOne.gr is not supposed to bring me money. I created it only to express myself, to entertain you and share experiences. However, down the way you might see on its pages advertisements or affiliate partners. If you like my content and want to support the site and keep it running, you can click on any of these links and help me with the costs of the domain and hosting. In addition, don’t forget to follow the website’s social media. It will be great support if you do.
To conclude, that’s all I have to say. You are welcome to explore the pages of StageOne.gr and remember some of your favourites, find new things or just have fun with the movies, series or games that excite me and want to talk about. Thank you and enjoy your stay!
